Since I don't use vertical video formats at work (I can't stand all those stories, reels, and similar junk, by the way), all the videos I download from Pexels.com are in horizontal format, 1920x1080, since I work in that format, and if that size is not available, a larger format is downloaded (in order of size). The files are saved with a name that makes them easy to sort, from Pexels I only have clip numbers, which doesn't make it easy to find the shot I need later. I also added FPS and clip length for convenience. This makes it easier to work with, and I'm pretty lazy sometimes :-)

I often use downloaded videos because not everything can be shot from scratch. I won't take a trip with my camera to shoot one shot of a zebra or Niagara Falls. All files are subject to Pexels license. This page is only a convenience for choosing a specific format. In the search field you can use any language, it is automatically translated into English. Well I didn't check all of them :-)

Also, if you use free film shots, don't forget to send the creators some kind of gift! They really do a good job! And thanks to them, your job is made easier. I guess that's worth a few bucks every now and then!

Settings

Paste the api key from pexels.com, you will find it at www.pexels.com/api/key/ when you log in. This allows you to download faster without using an intermediary server and you have much less restrictions. Without a api key, you can only download 20 files per hour from me. File names have less information. The key is stored only in your browser, completely private. Anyway, this key is used only for downloading, you can't do anything else with it.
